SNES game "King Arthur's World"
Does anyone note the resemblence of this game to King Arthur's World (1993) and does anyone know if it is the same development company who released this?

I thought for a moment it was a remake, but I read some stuff / watched footage of the game and it's not a remake, just looks very similar.

It was an inspiration

I've played, fully completed and done a let's play of KAW.

KAW was the main inspiration for KAG but it wasn't the only game that it got ideas from, another is the lost vikings some of the abillities that the knight and the archer can do are from belong and olaf in that game, even the idea of standing on a knights shield was from Lost vikings as well.
Shield float by the knight is inspired by Lost Vikings.

Grappling hook on the archer is basically the rope from Worms.

And KAW is, indeed, an obvious inspiration in some spots (I was only 9 years old when I played KAW for the first time).

At least that's what it appears to be, IMO.
