NPCs and Moving Characters
Hey everyone! 🎮

I've been really enjoying my time in Tiny Glade, especially the interactions with the animals—they add such a unique charm! 🦊✨ However, I can’t help but think about how much more immersive Tiny Glade could be with the addition of NPCs or moving characters.

Imagine the atmosphere with other little characters wandering around, engaging in their own activities! It would bring the game to life in a whole new way.

What do you all think? Would NPCs enhance the gameplay, or do you prefer the current setup? Let’s discuss! 👾💬

I agree. The game feels a little......... lonely right now lol

agree... I like the way it is right now. Because there are no people, it gives you so much room to imagine all the human activities&stories happening in that place. NPCs kinda ruin that since they can only do some simple things repetitively, like walking back and forth...

I would love to see a little villager walking around doing random things around my house, like fetching water or fishing animation.

I think it would be good to get people personally. But it seems like, based off some of these answers, that it would be great if we could toggle what living things are in the little glades, depending on the theme of the build.

Togglable people is even worse. It means devoting significant dev resources to a system that adds nothing to the actual mechanics of building or creating AND not all players will see it.

I am against features that divert resources from other things that would actually improve the sandbox.

I'm so for adding more animals. Little foxes would be adorable. People, not so much. I'm about to spend hours in this game to GET AWAY from people lol

I can see good reasons to favor both sides of this argument. I prefer the idea of no people, but plenty other animals instead. That being said, I don't think I'd mind it if the devs saw it fit to add people. I just personally enjoy the vibe without any humans around.

Hmm... I'm more in favor of simply seeing what this devteam has envisioned, regardless of what it is, but I understand your point. They don't have infinite time or money, nor a AAA sized team to add whatever. For the most part I just hope they consider what people talk about here and if it fits with their vision and timeframe / budget I'm all up for it.

I want people it can be if u want to add people or not but it's kind of boring I got a homes but nobody in them farms but nobody doing anything seems empty

An option to toggle chibi people bouncing around would be cute, I understand it's a small indie game and they must put their resources into their vision. Yet it would be a nice addition if they are ever able to do so.

yes would be cool
