Tip 1 Dont use Franch in a long game because they don`t have any good AA. Thier Artillery is not so good to.

Look at some of the Guides steam offers

Build the opposite if what the enemy builds. Build AT against Tanks, build Tanks against Artillery, build Artillery against Buildings, and so on...

Each country has its own strengths
USA-overall balanced country can hold its own in any type of battle
UK-strong air units weak ground units. if you play Uk and you dont build an airfield idk what you are doing and also they have one of the best mobile AA units in the game
Germany- overall strong units except they cost a arm and a Leg to buy(fastest figher and bomber in the game)
USSR-strong overall ground forces but are weak in the air and against air
France-Strong ADV tanks and bunkers, terrible air units and ok artillery their prototype recon can stand toe to toe with some medium tanks
Italy-Strongest defensive units in the game against tanks and possibly aircraft they have crappy tanks but they are fast and cheap to make up for it crappy aircaft except for their bombers(second fastest in the game) italys defensive units dont stand a chance against artilllery.
Japan(DLC) an arguement could be made that they are the most op country in the game Their infantry can stomp other countries infantry and light tanks with ease, their Adv TDs are the strongest in the game. their super heavys are extremely strong, their adv fighters ARE the best in the game beating the me 262 in a 1v1 and last but not least they have best prototype artillery for just pure damage. My tip against japan finish them off quickly so they can't build any advanced units

I dunno about multiplayer , but the first 5-10 minutes mins of every nation plays the same for me on single player. Supplys run out fast really so I always get a few "ambushs set up involving AT, inf and a few AA asap. AT first, then I go pick inf or AA based on what the AI is doing.
Then i sit there basically waiting for 100 cash. Every couple of admin buildings I reinforce ambushes or broaden ambushes. when I get to 8+ admin buildings and start spamming different assaults based on how i feel :p Great game.

The Ai is better than expected, but predictable and has it's limits. So it's only good up to a point, after that, you know you'll win. But still good enough to have a fun game.

sadly I can't play multiplayer, so looks like i'll miss out on what looks to a be really good strategy game

I've used France for a lot of games. I'd admit, I prefer to end the game quick with the nation and not have a long battle against Germany or USA for instance.

They could still work for long games though. The proto tank is really nice, and has decent AA when you stack a bunch of them. The 650 range of the SAU is basically an AT and bunker buster, which no other nation gets in an armour base. I always recommend my ally to go air if I'm france in a game, this is where they fall - air.

If you get with Italy in spam battles use the Carro P26 as a shield and the Breda trucks against tanks.

Don't use too much Strelkis ! upgrate to gvardiya !

Do not underrate groups of Blitzbombers with blitz and fana
