Has the DLC ever gone on sale? Game is pretty old and while I'd like the extra maps and one extra army for multiplayer , I don't trhink it warrants 14 euro..

it isnt worth it.

99% of good players ban japan since theyre OP so youll rarely get to play with them anyway.

if you want to play japan youre best off playing my mod but since its still new and unfinished barely anyone plays it atm so youll have to play with friends or you might not find anyone

and barely anyone plays on the new maps either for somereason.

Its mostly the maps we'd want really. The game really badly needs new and better maps.

nah, other than a half speed one so far i think mine is the only one thats even been released in a nearly finished state.

the other thing is that for somereason it seems maybe 5% of the players even read the forums so next to noone knows mods are even possible in this game, everytime i try to host a modded lobby everyone is always surprised its even possible.

Good stuff. Well fair play for putting the work in mate. I'll keep an eye on here more often and on your mod. Hopefully someone comes along and compliments it with a pack of maps that use terrain in an interesting way.

thanks, but so far noone even knows if its possible to mod maps or how. even it is possible it looks like itll be pretty complicated too.

if it does end up being possible then campaign maps in MP will be the first thing i try.

btw since you want new maps you should check out my half range and half speed edition of my mod when its released since itll make all maps play and feel different

ive almost finished with just the half speed edition, i just need to tweak some stuff for planes to make them work better at half speed and tweak the AA guns to make them balanced against half speed planes.

then i can start with the half range part.

By the way, Japan is seen as overpowered only because most people are too incompetent when Japan joins in (it is not overpowered in any way, it is simply a much different faction than everyone else, and perhaps a little more difficult, but not too hard to play as or against). I'd recommend getting the DLC fully, screw what people have to say, they're all going biased from what people said 3 years ago when Eugen released the Japan DLC.

and m8 you have less than 200hrs played, i have over 1600hrs (600ish onps3) and so do most of my friends of which about 99% agree that japan is OP. your whole
"oh ppl only say japan is op bc they dont have experience dealing with them" argument is only gonna backfire.

they might be abit up in my mod but with certain units like the OI tank, HO ri TD, HA TO and zero they are def op in vanilla.

There's a reason why Japan is being banned from pretty much every single tournament. I doubt that really every decent player simply "doesn't know how to play against them".

exactly, its at the point where you need to prove they arent OP with an actual real argument.

not just durr ppl are just bad at facing them. which is easy to counter with just no youre too bad to see how theyre op.
