Will I lose access to R.U.S.E. if I change my Steam region?

Hey everyone,

A friend bought a Russian key for R.U.S.E. since it’s way cheaper than the global ones. He redeemed it on a Russian Steam account, and the game works fine right now.

He's thinking about switching his Steam region to his country (USA), but I’m worried that he might lose access to R.U.S.E. after switching.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of situation before? If he changes his region, will the game still work, or will Steam lock it because it’s a Russian key?

I doubt he would lose it, once the key is activated it should be in your library forever

its not about key, its about buying cheaper games, so probably yes XD, no access in usa

sounds like he's worried his friend will be banned for bypassing regions
