Its very hard and very expensive to find this game for steam. I picked up a key for my son on a key website but have to use a vpn to be able to play it lol

My copy had been languishing in my Steam inventory for about 10 years. Finally activated it a couple of months ago, and just finished the campaign (no DLC though). Not a lot of help unless you can find a time machine or find one of the very, very few remaining copies that might be in Steam inventories (it was an actual item in there that could be traded).

its $160 on g two a right now. honestly thats not much more expensive than a release game today and the story and replayability is easily worth it.

Find your local marketplaces or in general and see if someone is selling a R.U.S.E physical Copy, as i believe they had redeemations for either Steam or Uplay. You can ask the seller if he redeemed it on Steam before then you can purchase it if the seller never redeemed it on Steam.

I got one for 5 euros this way just recently and it was even a boxed copy even...
it can't be that rare for these keys to warrant a 50-100 euro price via the grey market sites.

The game is available for free on abandonware websites as it is no longer supported, all DLCs included. Unlikely you'll be able to play multiplayer though
