Why was this great game removed?

I remember playing this back on xbox 360, my friends and I were planning on picking it back up again today. I went on the forums and noticed a lot of posts in regards to ubisoft removing the game from steam. So really, why was this removed? It is one of my favorite RTS games out there and a fun multiplayer experience. There is really no reason for them to have removed this because people still buy and play this.

I thought ubisoft bought the rights to the whole game and left Eugene in the dust? Correct me if i'm wrong but some of the devs from Eugene are stating that they can't do anything because Ubisoft owns the rights to the game and all they did was develop it for them.

No idea why it was removed, but Eugen was hired by Ubisoft to make RUSE because Ubisoft (no offence) is an incompetent company, forcing their employees to work over their regular work hours, often rushing to get games done, releasing crap-games like 3 Assassins Creed games in a single year and a countless number of other games. I can safely say that EA has better customer support than Ubisoft, because EA actually responds, not to mention that Ubisoft [again] overworks their employees and terribly markets their games.

Worst thing of all is that I was planning to buy this great game, now I can't. Flippin' Ubisoft man....

i had hours of fun with the game then i thought i might by the dlc but couldnt find it any where on steam its accuatlly pretty sad
