Official: RUSE was removed from store due to licensing issues
“Due to the expiration of licensing rights over certain military items within the game, R.U.S.E is no longer available for purchase,” Ubisoft told PCGamesN. “This does not, in anyway, affect players who already have the game in their library.”

Damn ubisoft not keeping up with licensing. It took them WAY too long to say anything about this game.

Not if you live in the UK. If i go on amazon US site it says, "Note: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States."

Is this really true? If so, its not good. :(

The DLC's are still availible on king pinquin Too bad they removed the game from the store, Its definitly one of my all time favorite games.

UBISOFT says that the License coset them money. Okey, Yes. But what is with "THE MONEY WE PAY FOR THIS GAME???" !!!! I will never ever Buy a Ubisoft game! Im done with those Bandits!!! GoG is the Way it should be! And STEAM... NO THX!!! Its Time 4 a Big Change and i hope that all the Gamers out there will open their Eyes and Follow a new Order against that Bandits!!! Steam/UPlay are Against the Law so we need to Fight them all together!!!

Make a Point. GAME OVER for UPlay/STEAM/ORIGIN!!!

"'Licensing issues', apparently.

I have to say I'm quite perplexed. Absolutely no idea what kind of licensing has expired. In terms of music, pretty sure all of the music was developed in-house or custom-made for the game (So it's not like the GTA situation.). RUSE was an original IP, so it's not a Deadpool situation.

Think Ubisoft just wanted to sweep this game under the rug, and forget about the time where they published games from third-party studios (Massive Entertainment being a first-party studio after its acquisition in 2008.).

Shame. RUSE 2 needs to happen!"
