There is always a vocal minority who want to ruin these games.
Hostile nature? No. Nobody has added me because they're ♥♥♥♥ players who rely on feints and don't want to be proved wrong. If I meet someone who can in fact counter feints or argue well for the use of feints, I will gladly have a polite conversation with them.
But nobody has.
I don't play this game a lot but I've gotten around a few feinters by luring them into a stab, I don't doubt somebody with good reflexes and dedicated to the game could get good at it.
You can't be great at everything, Chivalry might just not be a game you can master but that doesn't mean you should dilute it for others.
I consider myself to be a pretty decent Chivalry player. So you're saying you want a game that is only fun and possible for the top 1% of players? Are you kidding me?
feinting is an integral part of melee combat, you should be happy these awesome guys at TB thought to add it... so it's not just skyrim hyperclick online. You sound like you are just upset at yourself for being a sucker. It's ok, you are not alone. learn to read a feint and counter, then you will feel cool again.
I don't feint unless in duels tbh, the game modes I play are team objective\last man standing and always with friends; when you have so many bodies together a feinter will tend to lose 1 v 2 situations. So with only 50 hours I am not very good but always have fun, I'm not sure what you get frustrated with since I haven't experienced it myself in the game modes I play, maybe avoid 1 v 1 encounters? When I do duels it is in the duel servers with my friends, without feint the knight duels would be very boring for us.
As for the 1% thing, some of the most popular E-Sports are Starcraft and CS which have very high skill celings, so it's not as insane as you make it sound.
Uhm, they did actually :p Take it from someone who's done fencing and swordfighting ;)
Yeah...
Do you think in a real life duel you would be forced to hold your sword up for a block for only 0.75? Yeah...
I suck at this game? Hardly. And do you know how to read a feint? If so, add me, I'd like to see it.
You wait to parry. The problem with the way most people fight is that they get into a rhythm of hit, block, hit block etc.
Haha, I remember you. You're the guy who feinted with the Brandistock every attack. And you couldn't counter any of my feints for ♥♥♥♥. Ahahaha
