Feinting should be removed in duels
It's a easy way to win shows no skill, 1 feint can change the whole game between win and lose, only counters i know of is use a shield or go Maa. Does not make the game as enjoyable and it's not like any of us are pro's who make money playing this game to predict 80% of the time a feint is unpredicatable point blank range, unless you're far away from them. Now let the hate messages come lol, feinters will hate me.

Then you obviously weren't prepared to start this argument. It's nice to see you defaulted to what seems to be your favorite tactic yet again.

Way to take my posts out of context. He literally said "You just proved me right.", so I turned around and used the same tactic on him by saying "Your advice is wrong.". I can't expect someone as braindead as you to figure that out, though, can I?

As I said, I want to have an honest conversation about feinting. A conversation about feinting doesn't involve me giving all of my strategies out. It involves us talking about feinting. I don't want to talk about the specific timings of weapons, or the timing restrictions on feinting.

I gave honest evidence, and asked people who are able to counter feints to add me. Nobody added me. Nobody can counter feints. I don't see what's left to argue.

You don't want an honest conversation though, you either want someone to prove you wrong in a fight or shut up altogether. It's not by "your terms or no terms"; in an honest conversation both sides must concede to the discussion. You're closing the door in the face of theories you disagree with because we won't do it "your way", so as to speak.

Honestly dont see much of a problem... i get tricked by feints all the time but i dont feel that they are cheap or shouldnt be in the game otherwise two good players would be trading blocks the whole game.

Once again the point has gone right over your head. He did not say “You just proved me right.” He said “You have already proven me right in the way that matters” An obvious reference to your discrediting of your own arguments through hostile responses despite your calling for a “civilized conversation”. Of course I can’t expect someone as braindead as you to figure that out though, can I?

You had your shot at an honest conversation about feinting, we were having it for a post or two, but then you decided to resume hostilities. If you want a pissing contest then you got it.

You provided opinion and opinion only. It’s amazing how quickly you forget that I went out of my way to extend a courtesy to you by offering to participate in your challenge despite my disagreement with it. Now you couldn’t even offer me a fraction of the same respect and instead decided to label me stupid and braindead.

I can't keep track of posts through this mess of

so add me if you want to argue it out. With that, I'm done here.

feinting is confusing. thats the friggen point.
Prince Maleagant 18 AGO 2013 a las 8:28 p. m.
NO dont, feint should be in duel regardless
HIREMEHIREMEHIREMEHIREME 18 AGO 2013 a las 10:31 p. m.
Block the at the last moment. That is how you stop a feint (works for me anyway). If you remove the feint then you end up with a game where all you do is "spam n' block". If you think the feint is broken please return to your skill-less CoD. Nuff' said.

I always have so much fun every time a new topic on feint is created, they are always so full of badass and incoherent people.

I don't like feint, tho you have to use it after you trade hits with another guy for like 20 seconds or more because you cannot keep going on forever. Personally i do just play aggressively when i notice someone that use feint, countless times my enemy did feint while i directly stabbed him without parrying, and they always called me noob for that.

i never feignt it never bothers me. people dont even use it that much but its an important mechanic if it wasnt there u always get those hit-block-hit-block ♥♥♥♥ fights until someone misses or fail kicks. Just use a shield if u want.

Then sprint attacks should not be allowed, and the knight should have less armor, and, and and.....

Srs, grow some balls. Its a part of the class. Only you do not know how to attack them properly. Also, cancleing attacks was normal.

Get away from your computer and play some games more fitting for your maturity.

As much as I hate feinting also, it would be disastrous for competitive play if it was removed, because timing your strikes and blocks is kind of, uh, the whole game. There's no easy method to counter everything, it would be boring as hell if there was. I'm not particularly good at countering them, but I find that if the feinter is particularly spammy/sloppy there's probably a pattern to how many times they feint or what strike they follow up with, and so you can adjust your block time and get that parry in... just my two cents ._.
