Level up bug

Something rather strange happened to me. I just bought the game yesterday, was having fun, leveled up to rank 3. Then, in my next game there was a pop up magic that revealed that I reached rank 45, I also got similar steam achievements. I have no idead wtf happened, but suddenly I hav a high rank in matchmaking while being a total noob.

That must be the most extreme case of rank glitch I ever read about.
Unfortunatly, you're stuck with it until TBS fix that issue.

wow... that is the most extreme I have seen. Most only jumped between 5-20 levels... your rank is like end-game rank... o_o

I have the same exact problem. Except in my case instead of leveling up from rank 15 to rank 16, I went from rank 15 to rank 46 after getting a kill. I absolutely hate it because this level is not indicative of my skill or experience in the game at all, and I can't duel people of a similar skill level anymore.

If there is no fix, I wouldn't mind having to reset all my stats in the game and start over again from level 0, since it doesn't seem to take overly long to unlock all the weapons. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Unfortunatly, you can't reset your progress, and there is no fix. You're stuck with that issue. :(

Maybe the devs can reset the progress if you ask on the support forums, might try it. Really pisses me of, I was having a lot of fun with the game and now it is a bit ruined for me.

I went from rank 4 to 39 today and I agree completely with it ruining the experience. I also got achievements for mastering weapons I never even used.

When I played on the free weekend, I went from rank 1 or so to 30+ just for killing a guy. I bought the game and I still have 30+ rank.

I'm afraid people are gonna think I'm supposed to be that good, cause I'm not.

10 to 31 isn't a 40 rank jump lol.

yeah the same thing happened to me. i started playing recently and when i joined one server after one kill my lvl rank jumped to 46 :/
i'm still lvl 46, and the bug didn't change
