Most used Knight weapon in comp play.
The maul, while far from the best weapon, is arguably the most fun.
But if you want the most balanced and versatile (Oh. He already said that ^) melee weapon in the entire game, it's the Longsword.
Out of those 2, Messer. Maul's just rediculously slow anymore with the slo-mo patch and the non-existent "speed buff". Though, I really am an Axe man myself. Double Axe for the brutal 2-shot with slashes on all classes and the overall Dwarvish-ness (btw, I play D&D. criticise me how you please) of it. Bearded Axe for just being brutally hilarious and hard-to-block. And last, but not too much the least, the Pole Axe *angelic music*! Blunt-Overhead, Slashing-Slash, and Piercing-Stab (that's what she said).
Overall, I love the Double Axe. Makes me want to become a Dwarf IRL, get a pickaxe, and dig a hole in the ground to find some Diamond (Minecraft reference!) or something.
Double axe really feels good after patch, also 1st day after the patch i was in a fierce fight against 2 agatha knights and someone just said "i dont know what you see but i see a Gimli fighting against 2 uruk-hais". If ever workshop comes to this we know what we want.
