It only works on newer models (2009 and up?). You'll have to look on the apple website to get the specific list.
I have a friend that currently has to use his mother's Macbook due to his laptop dying on him and it'd be great if he could play Chivalry with me and a few other friends.
Well, it's not wrong to say they're not made for gaming. I mean, I'm at least 99% sure that, when they produce a Macbook, they don't have the same intent as, say, Digital Storm would in the production of it.
Additionally, like any computer, whether or not a Mac is actually functionable for gaming varies depending on the make and model.
Regardless, though, I feel as if it would make much more sense for the devs to simply take it one step at a time, instead working on fixing issues with the already established playerbase before expanding.
Although, with this knowledge, it is a bit questionable as to why something so simple is not done.
