Which is it 32bit or 64bit...DX9 or DX11 ???
Now i am totally baffled/confused/flustered.

First i read a forum (before the game launched) that said that CDW was 64bit "only".

After the [release] game download and installed, as the game loads, if i hover over the taskbar tab it says "Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior (32bit DX9)". After the game loads, when i ctrl/alt/del into TaskManager it says "CDW.exe 32*.

So can anyone (hello...dev's?) explain this one:

On 32-bit Windows, processes have 2 GB of userspace memory address space available, and even less than that has to actually be filled to cause memory allocation failures. The 'out of virtual memory' error message is misleading.

Again, we're working on memory use reduction, but 32-bit Windows is going to remain unsupported in C:DW. I doubt there are any 32-bit CPUs that meet our minimum specifications (putting aside the 64-bit requirement part of it) anyways. You could be on a 64-bit OS. Ours isn't the only studio that's dropping 32-bit support.

Additionally, when i attempt to launch the 64bit version using the .exe from the Steam CDW binaries folder, the launcher activates and attempt to load 64bit but, it immediately crashes to desktop. Why? My first thought was that the CMW version had the SDK written in 64bit and thats why you can run the CMW game in 64 DX11. But i read the programmers forum post as somthing completely different.

Please respond. THanks.

I entered the launch option code, -dx11. The game now launches "(32bit DX11)"

I just dont think they (dev's) wish to respond to this message board any longer...maybe they are REALLY busy at this juncture, would be my guess.

I do not wish to start yet "another" forum account on Torn Banner to launch my queries.

I would appriciate a response, no matter how short, like:

(you can even copy and paste one of my pre-formatted responses to your reply if you like)
