drag to get past parries. Speed up or slow down your attacks by rotating your body while swinging. This is easier with slower weapons. You will need to learn how to read these too so that you don't mess up the timing of your parry.
Riposte is an super fast attack counter that happens if you attack immediately after a parry. Hard to block unless you are expecting it. Shields can't be used to riposte. Some people rely too much on them.
Feints are great for messing up the timing of the opponent's parry. Stab feints are especially hard to read. Use these against people who love to riposte or dodge so you mess them up. Don't spam feints, just sprinkle them in when an opponent is defensive based. Deliberately missing an attack and then comboing serves a similar role, making the opponent drop their guard.
Learn to combo, you should be able to do at least a 5 hit combo. Look up a guide (for example mine) for more info about it.
Knights enjoy using sword of war, messer, maul, others. I enjoy nose sword and shield add shields slightly speed up attacks so this makes flinching easy.
