Black= Mason.
You know inserting that last sentence in Your post won't really benefit Your quest for answers.
Agatha: blue, white, yellow
Mason: red, black, brownish
it helps when player is bloody and/or burned too
It's a shame but that's the way it is
You can tell pretty easily if you look at the different customizations available.
And then you know what everyone looks like and what teams they are on.
When full customisation was added no one had issues whatsoever. Brand spanking new feature. After en entire year of playing with the colours being just red and just blue. The reason for that is because they all played with the customisation when it came out and they all knew the character models.
Its only brand new players that have issues. But to solve the majority of those issues you just need to play around with customisation yourself.
Doing so you will realise that you cannot actually make yourself entirely green. No team is green. Green is a trim colour. As are many other colours.
If you aren't sure spend another second or two working it out. Minimum windup in this game is 0.4 seconds. Human reaction time is 0.2 seconds. If they are an enemy you can parry their swing no matter what. There is no reason for you not to spend time making sure. So do so.
Play red orchestra 2. In that game you have to identify friends from foe at 200 metres. They have very similar uniforms and character models that are almost exactly the same. If you can identify people in that game you can sure as hell do it in this game at point blank range. RO2 has no crosshair and no names that appear at all. No indications. This game has several indications, the character models are vastly different, the colours are vastly different, they have different voices and there's the crosshair and name show when you look at them.
There is no reason to teamkill due to misidentification. Maybe as an archer you could be forgiven if it was a very long shot at a hard to see target. But not under any other circumstances.
