Custom Shield, wrong texture? Bug?

Hi everyone, I was just wondering why does the custom colors of my shield are weird when playing online but, once in the customisation menu, appears to be correct? I mean, I've made a templar shield, all white with a red cross in the middle but, once I'm online, I get a black shield with a chess symbol on it rather than what I did configure before.

Am I doing something wrong or is it an issue? Because everything else seems to work properly. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english xD ( I'm a french canadian lol )

Happens when you die. Shield changes to that emblem and changes to black in FFA.

It's normal in the fact that it is a bug and a very consistent bug.

Happens to me too. Shield isn't customizable in FFA only. Turns black with a white roaring bear for me. Bummer. :\ However, I've seen people with correct custom shields in FFA though. Their shield and symbol was the same as their body symbol and color, so I guess some can get it to work. If you find it out how please write it here. :)
