Flinch
Well my post about vote timers and how it relates to high ping players filling rooms up was removed so lets see how this goes.

FLINCH
Really its a question to the community I wanna see how people think it feels now. For me I think the nerfed flinch window has reduced the game to trade hitting and "Spamming". Spamming in the sense people are less defensive now and would rather trade an opening hit than get the advantage. When the window was larger to get flinch player had to be more honest if they threw a bad swing and got hit they didnt get to deal damage too, atleast not as often as now.

I also think an arrow making you flinch makes sense. It should flinch YOU JUST TOOK AN ARROW. However i would be more accepting to the feature or removing of a feature if they did the same to the throwing knives and throwing axes. If I shoot you in the face with a fully drawn warbow and you are swinging a maul you can keep going and crack my head. But a MAA can throw a knife from his arm (He must have killer triceps) and flinch a dagger. Whats everyone elses thoughts? Did you like the more defensive style maybe drawn out at times or do you prefer Chiv as a swing kill and die game now?

Lets keep it constructive. I can parry block all that fancy stuff.

I don't know what you are on about with flinch window, but flinch in release was removed and that led to a lot more trade-happy players in my experience.

We need first hit flinch, will stop trades.

flinch window is the frames the game will allow a player to become flinch if they are hit. They took that window and reduced it. Meaning the payer is "Vulnurable" for less frames. Wasnt here for the all flinch gone.

They didn't adjust the flinch window. What they did was remove the ability to flinch someone in the release of their swing if:
a) they were sprinting
b) you did more than 80 (?) damage.

Also arrow flinch, but tbh thumbs up to that.

my mistake on the thread remove i searched it multiple times and it wouldnt show. Steam must have been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with me. So holding sprint makes you immune now? and if you hit hard you flinch wont work? Sorry just want to fully understand what happen to the flinch i use to know

and I havnt had an arrow flinch since they said arrows will not flinch anymore

No those two things just happen normally now. It used to be that when you were sprinting, or if you got hit for 80+ damage, you would get flinched ANYWHERE in your swing, even in the very beginning. Now there are no "special cases" like that. You just got flinched if you are hit in the windup phase of your swing.
