Deadliest Warrior shortcut ????

i have both chivalry games, i know that i can start the game via steam, right clicking medieval warfare and choosing deadliest, but i want a shortcut for this game, i tried to enter it from the game's folders DW.exe ( with the deadliest warrior icon ) but only medieval warfare starts, also the Launcher is bugged, doesnt matter what i click, medieval warfare or deadliest warrior , only MEDIEVAL warfare starts, why ? i want a shortcut for my dw or maybe the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher to work properly, seriously isnt there any other option to start the game except rightclick in the steam games library ??

If you don't have the steam launcher, you just need to reinstall the game, I did this a while ago because you can't trust steam with updates anymore. After it reinstalled the game you normal get the steam launcher which is supposed to be there where you can pick between MW and DW.

i already said about this, i have the launcher, but BOTH games mw and dw start only MW, doesnt matter what i click in the launcher, only right clicking the game in steam library actually starts DW, i tried even going in the game folder, and entering from dw.exe and STILL it launches Medieval warfare, not deadly warrior, its very annoying..

The exe launches MW for some strange reason everyone gets that.

But the launcher launching MW instead of DW I haven't heard of. Works fine for everyone else.

well the launcher i got is the Chivlauncher.exe from my medieval warfare folder, maybe that could be the cause ? cause i dont know how to get the launcher shortcut via other methods.

ok update, if i use the launcher from the steam library it trully launches DW game, but how do i make a launcher shortcut then ? cause the one from the game folder is launching only mw regardless of what i click.

Oh I know what you mean now by launcher. You mean the old launcher.

They now have a steam launcher. Which is just a small steam window with 5 launch options. 32 and 64 bit versions for both games and an option for the SDK.

As yes the old launcher also launched MW when you click on DW.

Yeah not sure what they changed but you can't make DW shortcuts anymore.

yes yes, that`s what i ment, so there is no possibility to have a DW shortcut on the desktop, damn it :D

Soo i know this post isnt that recent, but i found a way to make a shortcut for CDW (I stumbled upon it)

If its on windows, go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalrymedievalwarfare\CDW\Binaries\win64\

and in it you will see that you have CDW.exe and CDWEditor.exe

make a shortcut of CDWEditor.exe THATS the one that launches Deadliest Warrior.
