Feints explained

[Cygnus]

PRESS Q TO FEINT

FUNCTION #1

ATTACKING

1- get close to opponent
2- do a overhead attack (mouse scroll down)
3- Press Q mid-swing
4- as soon as you pressed q do another overhead attack (mouse scroll down)

Pressing Q will cancel a hit mid-swing, a non-experienced player will interpret it as a real attack and "panic block" leaving him open for a hit.

DEFENDING :

(you want to retreat from 1 or many players)

1- quickly turn in the direction of the threat
2- press LMB (long arc swing) but cancel it (Q key) mid swing
3- everyone blocks
4- run

FIGHT MORE PEOPLE, FASTER

1- you killed someone using a combo but your movement is not finished and another ennemy is coming at you !
2- Cancel attack, putting an end to the combo chain and give you the chance to block or hit

PREVENTING A TK

1- you're in the process of hitting an ennemy but an ally is passing by in front of you and he's gonna take the hit in the face

2- Cancel attack ( Q key) so your ally can live and help you fight.

FEINTS FOR HUMORISTIC PURPOSES :

1- on the spawn location at the start of the game, do a feint, he will block and laugh at him because he fell for it. Have a good time. Take a beer. Enjoy Deadliest Warrior

Erm, you can't feint mid swing, best to press q as late as possible during windup.
