Chiv is not that simple or easy once you get to the higher skill levels and is best played on a beefy PC. If you suck at it there are tons of video tutorials as well as veterans willing to teach if you hop in the right servers. So you don't have friends playing CHIV? Make new ones.
Also, not griping, just asking. But then again, people like you wouldn't understand anyway. You give gamers a bad name with all your negativity.
Anyway microsoft said that xbox360 games will work on the xbox one soon. It doesn't specifically state all games though. Not to mention this is a PC port and this game performs increadably badly on PCs with similar specs to an Xbox one. CPU is the problem.
In fact just yesterday microsoft revealed a list of the first 100 games that are going to be backwards compatible. On their preview program or whatever it is. Launches November for everyone else. Chivalry ain't one of those games on the list.
Nintendo made it possible to play gamecube games on the wii so this seems no different eventually the xbox 1 will probably be able to play 360 games on it.
Not to mention the Devs aren't on this forum. They have their own one.
If it isn't we all know it's becuase of that 1.6GHz CPU lol.
Chiv for console was truly dumbed down. You are limited to the number of servers available, limited to the number of players you can have in a match and limited to the number of playable maps. The config was also dumbed down so that controllers would work but again you are limited to that controller and the number of configs you can do, not to mention limited int the types of moves you can do.
As I said you initial issue is not Chiv but consoles ripping players off for not having backwards compatibility for games you already own. This was brought up even before releasing either console an really hurt the console industry, POed a lot of consumers including myself so I have not bought another one and invested more in my PC instead quite simply because there are more options and there are nothign but annoying children with mics spamming viop that never stfu with thier prepubescent crackling voices cause there sack hasn't dropped yet It is like fingernails on a chalkboard.
no thanks.
He doesn't even own the game on PC. A slightly dumbed down game on consoles for it to work will suit him just fine. Probably better than the PC version. He ain't gonna spend 3000+ hours on it.
