what happen to the big servers with 64 players
after this update many serves are 32 or 24 players servers why?

Well 24 and 32 slots are the standard for normal servers. Haven't seen the 64 slot servers in a while, can't say I miss them.

super lag fest on the 64 servers. I know some will argue that. But my rig is plenty and more to run chiv at a smooth fps. Whenever I enter the 64 man servers the fps drop is horrible.
Makes it unenjoyable (for me). Therefore I stick with 32 man tops and prefer the 24.

Too hard to be attacking with 32 enemies defending. And of there's like 10 lmb spammers on the server, bye bye, never gonna do the objectove. 32 is perfect IMO

If a 64 slot server was very strict on pings it would be a start.
Its pointless running such a server otherwise.

I run a 64 slot Server. But it only runs LTS. As that's the only game mode where it doesn't lag to crap lol.

The 64 slot servers are still there, but they are private servers and they have to be updated after every patch. Sometimes the owners are a bit slow.

That is dumb, who is going to wait around for a round to 64 player LTS round to end. If that server is even remotely busy it is only because they have few choices of servers. Nothing kills a busy server than rotating into an LTS map. By the time of the 7 round the server is empty.

TO is unplayable on anything more than 32 players just due to map balance imho.
LTS is awful with more than 20. I guess on a 64p server you could do TD, if you set the kill cap to 150 or something.

You haven't played a 64 player LTS lol. They take no longer than a smaller game. Same amount of time double the carnage. It honestly feels like they are faster than smaller games.

Especially when you do LTS-shipyard or LTS-bridge. They go really fast.

It doesn't work on that new LTS map with the box that lowers. As half the team in the box spawns on the ground. Too many.

Making it LTS only was at the request of many. I had said "no" over and over again till I finally gave up and changed it.

I really like 64+ player servers even though they can be major lagfests. There's more chaos and players to fight. It's a shame most of them are offline. They used be online all the time earlier during Summer.

Ever since they started doing 64 slot servers I kinda brought up the argument that It was going to destroy what little remained of the game. The average Chiv player thinks more players= more fun. But as Bear and others have said, 64 TO maps are just horrible, they get massive lag, their admins were rarely active, half the players with 300+ ping. So the average player goes in, gets destroyed, cant do anything because of the lag and then leaves dissapointed/ enraged and goes on to say the game is terrible. So those servers were pretty busy or full and the good 24/32 slot TO/LTS servers where gameplay is much more manageable and everyone would mostly get better pings are empty.

Yeah community is pretty small, maybe instead of the big 64 slot servers, we could do better with 2 32slot quality servers. With higher tickrates and better moderation.
