At low you'll see that farther animations will only play certain key frames.
Will setting this to medium still give me all the frames in close combat, say against a spear vanguard?
Word of advice though, don't ever join a 50+ player server. It's unstable. You won't be able to parry. You'll have lower FPS than usual, you'll have higher ping than usual. Server will have plenty of spikes. Everything will be chaos and teamwork will be next to none. No matter where you go you'll get teamhit. It's just bad.
Gonna try setting animations to medium. My 4790k can maintain 60 fps that way even with 64 players in most situations.
Thanks for answering btw.
Back to that, the lower the setting the better your FPS. You really dont need to see all the animations of players out of your combat range.
I agree lag is annoying but I can play a few hours usually with about 60 ping before the server crashes and restarts. Not perfect at all, but I guess that's just the flaws of the game's code.
Also I'm not spamming lmb. I usually stab more frequently than lmb or overhead.
