Fast and all-round good one handed weapon for knight
I always play with heater shield + holy water sprinkler, because I like fast weapons. This combination is the best for small fights, not group mass rape, so I often have problem facing multiple enemies. But that's not the main question. HMS is the best for fighting against knights and vans, but lately, I've been having a problem against more skilled archer players. They are very fast, they are nearly dodging my hits like MAAs, and I can't deal much dmg to them using the HMS. I used falchion once, but I resigned, any tips?

Small and fast one handed weapons aren't exactly the best for a knight because of how slow you are, using the holy water sprinkler kind of contradicts the whole "slow tank" class. I think you should try using the longsword, or the sword of war which is faster than the longsword. You could also try one-handing them with or without a shield. If you really want to use pure one handed weapons, use the broadsword because it's moderately fast and can help you with reach problems so they aren't dodged as easily. In my opinion, use the falchion because it does alot of damage and is fast, and has decent reach which you have to adapt to. I usually use it when I'm facing against heavy weapons, so I can do alot of damage while being speedy. If you are using the falchion, only use overheads and aim for the head so you get the most damage. Vanguards can die in two hits if you hit them in vital areas, and if they don't, just kick them and they should die. Generally, you will want to use a longsword or sword of war against MAA and archer, and one handed weapons against vanguard or knight if that's what you want to be doing.

Are you serious? I took the time to write this paragraph to give you some advice and you just say, "I stopped reading." If you actually read the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paragraph, you would see that I made some tips on one handed weapons as well, as well as one-handing two-handed swords. I'm at a loss for words that you don't realize how rude you are.

You are really rude pal, if you don't want people to give you advise, don't post in the forums.

Sorry, I guess I'm just overreacting. Usually everybody EXPECTS me to play two handed weapons, like if it was neccesary to use them as knight.

I understand that, but don't jump to conclusions next time.
Going back to your post - I was using falchion once but I resigned as it was a problem for me to deal with knights, maybe it will be better this time. I found norse sword nice also, especially for 1 vs 1 fights when I need precision.

Norse Sword is the preferable weapon for both MAA and Knight.

The thing is, other than the Norse, most experienced players may have no trouble blocking the rest of the one-handers. Many are already experienced by practising blocking with Norses as well.
The maces are alright with the sprinkler being my favourite.

You could go Morningstar stabbing with a shield.

But otherwise, Norse is your best bet. Fast, deadly riposte is what makes the Norse good.

Falchion (and 1h Messer) are pretty great all-round weapons. Overheads on these weapons do 'chop' damage, which is 50/50 cut/blunt. You can reliably 3shot knights with overheads to their head and body.

I like 1h Longsword and Messer best for all-rounder weps for the knight. The LS is probably the better pick as it is still kinda fast, but 3shotting knights isn't very reliable (headshots only with overheads, as opposed to the Messer which can hit either head or body with overhead to 3shot).

Morningstar is another great 1h weapon. 2shots everything up to VG with overheads and has a ludicrously fast thrust to mess with people's timings. Plus decent reach.

Or you could maybe not do that as it's one of the easiest and most broken setups in the game right now.

Norse sword is my #1 onehander choice.
Pressure with stabs, and throw some well timed stabfeints. Makes even comp players panic.
Don't worry to much about stamina, just get the player to low health so you only have to hit him once more to kill him.
When out of stamina, Barkas him! Which means, keep missing your stabs intentionally, keep doing this until your opponent tries to gamble you. Then you drag your tracer in him and he's dead. Watch your timing though, if your opponens feints to parries his gamble he'll have a free hit on you.

I play only with shield.

I actually don't like to combine any of the secondaries with shield, but if I'd have to make a choice I'd chose holy water sprinkler in vanilla, and norse in mercs.
Imo the onehand primaries are better. My preferred is kite with 1 handed sow, next choice would be warhammer with kite.
