How to start with battle-axe?

Hi! I' m new player in Chivlary, could You tell me how I can get that weapon? I have 15 level and always play as vanguard, but never use battle-axe, even basic version.

well the 2 sided axe is slow and hard to master

but it you want to use it

you need to trail and error fight with it

One Tip ---- Look downward Fast if you do a overhead Swing

it makes contact faster on your opponent or get close and look down and swing away

most people dont expect that lol

Ok, thanks for advice, it' s useful and sorry for my poor English. It's misunderstanding. I want play with halberd ( I' don't know how correctly call it in English, axe on long stick) but, always had 2 handed sword when I started match. I don 't know how change sword to halberd . How to set it?

Change class to vanguard. Only vanguard can use halberd.

those weapon symbol boxes at the bottom on the class selection are what change your weapons and equipment. Halberd is the last weapon in the chain so at the start you can only use the bardiche.

I don't even suggest unlocking it,you're a vanguard,you need a weapon with long reach and good damage,I unlocked the halberd,but I still use the bardiche.The halberd got a bigger reach but it does some less damage,anyways,try to combo as much as you can and stay at range from the enemies.I recommend you unlocking it in Free for All mode.

Range on that axe is small, so try to keep close or draw them to attack then charge in with overheads

A vanguard and a Knight can use A Haliberard I think

im pretty sure the knight has a two handed halebeard to use

........ My tip is play as a Knight -----simply becase of more health and range weapons......

Wear A sheild on your Back -------------- It Stops incoming Arrows and Knives.........

Nope, only vanguard can use halberd.
