FIXED: Server browser showing no games (+repro steps)!

HOW TO FIX:

1. Start Chivalry, go to the server browser
   
2. Hit Advanced Filters in the lower-right
   
3. Set Perspective to First-Person, then save
   
4. Open Advanced Filters again
   
5. Set Perspective to All, then save

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK...

1. In Windows, open the folder

   %UserProfile%\Documents\my games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config

   Note: If you are running Windows XP, the directory is

   %UserProfile%\My Documents\my games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config

2. Close Chivalry
   
3. Open UDKUI.ini in a text editor
   
4. Search for the string

   [AOC.AOCView_Frontend_JoinGame]

   You should find two lines that look something like this:

   [AOC.AOCView_Frontend_JoinGame]
   SavedFilter=(ServerName=,MapName=,GameSpeed=0,GameMode=0,MaxPing=0,Perspective=2,HidePassworded=False,HideEmptyServers=True,HideFullServers=True,RequireVAC=False,UseRankLimits=False,MinRank=0,MaxRank=0)

5. Delete both those lines, then save the file and restart Chivalry

IF ALL ELSE FAILS...

Delete the entire Config folder mentioned above. This will cause you to lose your configuration and player-customization settings :(

HOW TO REPRODUCE (for devs only)

There appear to be three separate bugs causing this issue:

1. Sometimes your Perspective filter randomly gets changed to Third Person
   
2. Sometimes the Perspective filter says All but is actually searching for Third Person
   
3. The Perspective filter doesn't seem to actually work.

Here's how to reproduce all three of them:

1. Start up Chivalry with no filters. Go into Server Browser --> Advanced Filters --> set ping to <100. Save and restart Chivalry. Go back to Server Browser --> Advanced Filters. Notice that the Server Browser is still searching for All perspectives, even though the filter now says Third Person
   
2. Hit save, then restart Chivalry again. Notice that no servers appear, because the game is searching for Third Person games, even though in Advanced Filters it says All
   
3. Notice that when we search for Third Person, nothing shows up. However, First Person and All return different results. So something about this filter isn't work correctly...

Bumping this. Tried to do a filter for the first time and lost all of my servers. Turns out it defaulted to Third Person Perspective, as there are no servers available for that. Can we make sure it defaults to all? Or indicate what filters are active?

Hey buddy, i've been searching just over a year now for a fix for my Chivalry, I absolutely love the game with a passion; i've added you on steam. I really do hope you can accept my friend request, i've been looking for so long to find a fix!

I have done all of this, and reinstalled the game. I have no idea what more I can do about it. Every filter setting should have been reset through all of the multiple steps I have tried. Anyone who can help?
EDIT: Fixed it, just janched with the "Chivalry: Medival warfare (32) instead of the "Play: Chivalry: Medival warfare)

This method did not work for me. I am using Linux and the edits to the config files is different for me, so I am unable to use the second option. If someone could let me know what the locations of the files to edit for Linux I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I'd like my money back please. I got to play online once, then all this started happening. I've done all that could be done according to the forums, and I quit caring. Please just give me my money back. I'll try my luck on finding a populated game on Age of Chivalry, k thanks.
