No XP Gain

I've been trying to get to level 15 on man at arms for these last 2 days. It started off well, almost hitting rank 14. But after that, progress stopped entirely. 0 XP after winning games with plently of kills. I've been farming on a last team standing with a couple of friends because the laptop im currently using can't handle more than 2 players. Do i need to play other gamemodes to gain more xp? I've looked around and done some research, restarted my system, restarted steam etc. Still having this bug, its extremely frustrating.

Update:

I'm also currently trying to unlock the norse sword the man at arms class. I've gone well over 15 kills against real players and it is still locked. And yes, i am using the broadsword.

Do i have to use dedicated servers in the server browser? Im currently joining my friend through steam on the "create game" tab.

Five players have to be on a server in order for you to gain experience, if my memory serves.

I'm not sure if every part of that guide still works, but I use some of the ini tweaks provided in it, even though my computer is good enough to run the game at 60 fps maxed, I do some tweaking to run it at 120 fps locked at highish settings. Using certain ini edits, you can get the game to run better than it will on the lowest settings available in-game.

CPU: Intel Core i7-5500U 2.4GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 940M with 4GB DDR3 VRAM
RAM: 16GB DDR3L SDRAM

I can normaly run this at 20-30 fps with just 2 players on less intensive maps.

EDIT: Settings are set as low as they can possibly go.

Just tested it in a bot match with 5 players, works pretty smoothly. Im going to try an online game now and see how it goes

Forgot about this thread. Tried a 5 player game and gained xp and unlocked the norse sword. Also turned my settings up slightly to medium quality, still runs pretty smoothly. Thanks for the help!

So i just bought deadliest warrior on steam. Will that guide work for that too? Getting the same performance as chiv without the config tweaks.

That, I don't know. I only played it a long time ago on a different GPU, and I don't remember the performance. When I try it out, I'll post about it here.

Okay, the UDKEngine.ini file looks different, hence why im questioing if its possible, or atleast without getting someone expierenced to know what to actualy replace and change.
