I suggest you get out of my Thread.
Why should a sword do equal damage even at a Drag, turning messers into lightsaber-like weapons. If someone drags a sword opposite to the direction they swing, damage should be near null,
BUT HEY THIS IS CHIVALRY< and the devs are happy $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
why is feint to parry bad? most balerinas are not good at it nor feint reading
fact that mw and dw feels like alpha-beta and mirage is gone [dead on arival]
torn banner is dead unless they bring chivalry 2 from grave
i do remeber when tb nerfed broadhead arrow but never touch javelin or xbow. i never undestand this decision
Mordhau isnt perfect it probably will replace chiv, but that aint saying much. Mordhau has its own set of issues.
i do think partial hyperarmor should be thing with heavy armor
in mordhau riposte atacks have only hyperarmor is good idea or bad . who knows but this will gets tweaked also.
they basicaly make kick as usefull as in chiv . which is good . kick doesnt have guard break option before
Chivalry is a hard game, the skill-curve is immense, and you will get your *ss handed over to you repeatedly until you become better.
messer is no issue to block, even in accels, once you've learned to read your enemies. This does take a lot of time though, don't expect to be able to read them perfectly under 100-200 hours of playtime.
Go on duel server, train against the best players, and defeat after defeat you will slowly let your brain absorb all of these informations and adapt to it. It's a very rewarding feeling, if you have the patience for it. Otherwise, you can always go for a more casual game where skill doesen't matter so much, like for honor.
Until the player starts ballerina overheads and drags.... turning the messer into a lightsaber, that when you touch, you die. rrrright.
You would think that a weapon has weight to it, momentum and swing strength, that when swung hard enough does equal amount of enough damage to cut someone. but Heeeeeeeey this is chivaaaaaalry, and everyone is so much of a expert on swords and their logic is so flawless, that if a messer is layed on a table not moving, and touched, would instantly slice the table, you and the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ planet in half in full force, cuz... messer ballerina fanboi logic bruh.
