Archer Class 'focus' - ing
Class Training, the Archer: where the game instructs you to use Alt to 'focus' while the bow is drawn.
What exactly is supposed to happen there? - Despite being able to hit each of the targets without it, I am unable to achieve this 'focus' , apparently, as the game refuses to allow me to advance past that point; the instructions 'Press Alt with bow drawn to focus' remain on the screen.

If I use left Alt, it pops up some kind of Windows menu, and I must press Esc to return to the game.
If I use right Alt, it works better at least in the sense that the Win menu thing doesn't pop up.
Am I missing something, for instance is there some specific timing that must be used for the Archer to 'focus'?
I've tried pressing right Alt before, during, and after drawing the bow (Mouse 1) with no success.

I guess you have assigned some function to your left-alt key in windows. What normally should happen is you draw the bow, press left-alt and zoom-in on your target while the cursur also slightly changes. Then you would release the arrow and hit your target with slightly more precision.

OMG please forgive me, there is NOTHING WRONG with the game: the 'problem' is that when I last cleaned my keyboard (popping off all the keys, cleaning the works, then popping them back on) I apparently switched the Windows key and the left Alt key ... ( insert Picard facepalm here )
I figured it out while looking at the loading screen displaying the keyboard bindings = proving it is helpful in more ways than the obvious~!
At any rate thanks for getting back to me so quickly Didymus, much appreciated.

No problem, that was pretty funny actually. I might use this information to prank my brother who also plays chivalry.
