Chapter 1 has to be replayed.
Chapter 2 is a buggy chore mess
Chapter 3 you have to finish it in certain order to get the unlocks
Chapter 4 was in my opinion the worst so far, with confusing hints where to gather the units,
had to replay it, to get the unlocks.
Chapter 5 is bad too, as it does give as main quest to explore the 3 sides, but you don't get the hero unlocked afterwards.
1. Random cards on level up
2. Level caps
3. Taking away hard earned army and replacing with generic crap due to forced storyline
4. Forced to rush
It's just a rather shallow game. Looks nice and has some minimal strategy. The random elements of hitting (power + armor/ward) can make the same fight go very different each time, so save scumming also breaks it.
While we cannot change the Campaign's core design at this point, we will bring include the Crusade in our upcoming feature "Scenarios" - challenge maps that revolve around 1 or 2 key mechanics and / or unique storylines.
