Hauser is absolutely the best hero?

Algorithm is simple - place him on a backline edge. Then spam swordsmen on position furthest from enemy units. If enemy got archers - drop some on archers.

So since it is so easy, perhaps there can be autocombat? Because it is so unengaging.

I'm having trouble with the Capital of the first episode. The enemy just roll over my army before the summons can even proc once. And their Catapult is besting my Ragesworn Knights in melee.

Grab 2+ big ents from forest city for constant infantry spam. Destroy 1 catapult by swordsman drop, another by flying unit. Holy tentacle angel is good because he reflects damage.

Oh, and game is a casino where hits can miss due to armor, so if you got unlucky save and reload.

I tried Heroic Rushing the catapult with two Ragesworn, and the Catapult killed both of them.

Got the Ents, and attacked after charging three lots of Knights at the Catapult to kill it. But, now I am dealing with their invincible cavalry that is chewing through everything pretty much solo
