Everything is blurry during battles.
Is there a problem with antialiasing or are the troops not detailed at all?
The gfx of battles look absolutely horrible.
EDIT: I reduced the antialiasing to x2 and it looks slightly better.

Hey Lofi911!
Is there any chance you can send us a screenshot?
For example, you could hop onto the Discord Server and open a ticket in the Bug forum with an image, so we can have a look.

The troops themselves are handpainted, and have less details / polygons for optimization reasons. But they should still look stylized and not blurry.

I have this exact same issue if playing at 3440x1440, they look fine at 2560x1440, then blur again using a true 4K display.

Fixed mine, turned off AA Transparency in Nvidia settings and the same for AA mode, set it to application controlled, changed in game to 8x AA, and it now looks like the first time I'm ever playing it, amazingly detailed and sharp!

Hi Yumashi. Thanks for the quick reply.
Here is the screenshot uploaded to imgbb:

I can barely see whats goin on during battle. BTW. Im using 1080p resolution but I think its the style which makes it hard to see anything there, especially when the background is bright enough, like sand or castle areas.

EDIT: I noticed when uploading to these kind of websites they really reduce the quality even more. Disregard this image. Need to find another way to upload a screenshot.

Hey again! Thanks for the pic! The units seem pixelated indeed and I can't tell if it's the resolution or the actual game. I will point our devs & graphics programmer to this steam posts though, they're better with technical details, and I hope they can help much more!

Hello, looking at the issue my first guess is that the upscaling is causing the issues. Can you try to set it to a higher quality or turn it off alltogether? You can find it in the Settings -> Video -> Upscaling(FSR) -> "Best Quality (Off)". It will have an impact on the performance though.

Hi Sven, Thanks for your input,
I set it to "quality" instead of Best quality Off" and it seems better now. Thanks again.
