Some tips from our Design team below!
⚔️ Prepare for the battle ⚔️
Optimize your armies matching the army hero leader perks and distribute units with anti-enemy perks like dread to multiple armies.
Also take into consideration that Katra and Freymund also have leader perks.
E.g. Ideally combine Katra with anything Konstrukt in one army (hint: the Old Race is not the only Faction with Konstrukts...)
If you have strategy cards that can buff the whole army, use them before attacking
💥 In the battle itself 💥
Focus on getting rid of single units with each battle. So use one battle e.g. to get rid of the ranged units in the backlines, use one battle to get rid or nearly rid of the Omen. Read the perks of your enemy units and try to identify units that are supporters and take those out first.
Don't focus too much on Garin. He himself will revive after every fight. If you have stun cards, use them on him, and try to keep him busy by sending one unit there to keep him bound in close combat so he cannot cast his attack.
Remember the Konstrukts mentioned earlier? Those units are key, try to keep them alive as long as possible and buff them with all you got.
Make ample use of the pause functionality in battle to most effectively play your cards
🤫 Some secrets... 🤫
A little secret: There is a trick to get an Urborn join you in the final battle - if you manage to connect the western Primordial Shrine on the Dark Side with Light Veins. This will make this fight way easier.
Another little secret: if you have completed certain sidequests in the game, even more of the friends you have made along the way will join you.
But Primordial Shrine is ruin (affected by silence). It's destroyed!
So it's impossible to rebuild it and connect to network,
Buy a artifact that can remove Silence effects and place it in the garrison of the Shrine, thats how I rebuild settlements that are within the Silence.
