Mission 6 Forlorn

Does anyone know how the Forlorn in mission 6 work? There are 3 different settlements on they have between the three maps, but I don't seem to be able to do anything with any of them.

not sure what you mean, my whole map is open and i ve got 2 of them (another tree city is wild beasts), Merin was my friend so i got starter one automatically and another one captured I think, used normally as other cities

How did you befriend Merin? I met with the Forlorn in mission 4, but I can't recall any other opportunity to interact with them.

For me:

Mission 4 --- Talk to Morlon's Pride with Akkard.
Mission 5 --- Talk to Morlon's Pride with Akkard, do not attack Morlon's Pride afterwards.
Mission 6 --- Talk to Morlon's Pride with Akkard.

Make sure to restart progress in missions if you did something different in the mission that comes before the one you are playing.
