The new artstyle makes me sad

The first game was fantastic, but WOL2's artstyle is not great. I really hope the devs reconsider this choice. Even if it means a delay in release, at least you won't be alienating people who were drawn to the charm of the original games style. Unless something changes, I'll be passing on this.

Risk of Rain 2 deviates, but it has panache and uses lighting and effects to make use of its signature cel-like shader, so that it has a distinct style.

WoL2's new style has less flavor than chalk.

I don't feel like this style will be able to have quite the same punch and energy of the original game, not to mention the gorgeous visuals too.

You can borrow my deceased grand mothers glasses which will make anything you glance at look like an illegible blurry mess if you miss looking at blocky visuals from a decade ago when technology wasn't able generate anything better...unless you're still playing on a PC from back then, or the first gen of Steam's happy meal toy.
