Issue with resolution? Help.
I have a 1920x1080p laptop monitor, and set the game to that resolution, but for some reason, when set at this, the game screen is off-center and doesn't fit on my screen. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello, try the fixes in this thread :)

In particular:
The game is zoomed in.
- or -
The screen is off to the side, I only see part of the whole screen.
This is caused by your settings in "Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display". When the text size is set to "Larger - 150%", the game screen will be zoomed in. Switch it back to 100% or 125% before launching Hotline Miami.

Ahh, that was it. My stuff was set to 125% I think. I switched it-Everything on my desktop is smaller now, but the game is just the right size at max resolution now. I guess it was set higher than the minimum.

You can avoid switching that everytime you wanna play:

Right-click on the game in your library -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files -> Right-click on "HotlineGL.exe" -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and apply.

Windows hides file extensions by default. You can display them by ticking this: https://i0.wp.com/www.softwarert.com/wp-content/uploads/show-file-name-extensions-windows-10.jpg?w=602&ssl=1
