Pyro blade dancer -> executioner makes old Arch militant look like a harmless baby
Basically the title. The amount of damage you can deal outscales it, you get stacking HP, stacking stats. I'm constantly dealing 4-6k in a single hit near endgame, after a TINY bit of setup I'm slapping for 10k+ I've hit over 1k+ health... Its honestly absurd.

I finished act 3 today and dealt 6.4k in a biomancy extra turn provided to me by Idira.
Could have been more but ..there were no enemies left other than the big bad and I wanted to give the last hit to her brother.

Shortly after in the warp travel encounter regarding said brother one of the enforcers bugged out and couldn't die, the amount of damage he ate just for existing after both me and the death cult used Masquerade was obscene..

All I have to say is yes. :p :P

Actually I got more:

In a way Executioner has "Necromancer Death/Curse Class" vibes from various MMOs etc., where you propagate (sometimes en masse), debuffing DoTs while getting bonuses from them too.

From personal experience that is usually very powerful and much like here, can bypass various defensive layers (like dodge/parry) via said damage proccing every round or instantly with an ability.

just had my first fight wearing the warp surge brooch...
I must admit I was not sure this scales well enough for the late game boss fights, but after seeing what just happened and what I did to the archon.. Yeah. This will be good :D
Maybe not 64 shots from a heavy bolter, always hitting, always criting good, but on the + side: I won't have to manually target each of those shots ..waiting for the animation to play out.

True, even just using a plain jane soldier -> master tac build, you deal enough damage to make most encounters easy. Though, I'm still only almost to act 4 with that build.

I went Soldier/AM and would wipe the entire room once my turn came up nearly every fight.

Every AP is usually a dead enemy and I can use everyone one of them for an attack by the end.

After my first fight with Kibellah in the team I immediately restarted the game to make my RT a bladedancer.

I'm playing Unfair and I legit feel like i'm bullying Chaos Marines.

Heck, I even switched custom because Unfair "only" gives the bad guys an 80% health boost so I figured I might as well give them that last 20% and at least try to make it more sporting. lol

People are still trying to argue AM is better but they are coping hard

there's no way. Baseline Pryo -> master tac is almost as good. Hell, they are probably better at AoE'ing chaff down, and potentially better at nuking the boss after that. The biggest issue is they would take a little bit longer to nuke the boss.

You got any suggestions for good gear to use with that setup? I just started one myself but I've no idea what weapons would be good.

Downside of having most playthroughs being a noble officer, i suppose.

It only really scales to that point around act 4 IIRC. You get a specific item called voidborns's Pride. Which increases your medicae with each kill you make. Which stacks with itself. IIRC I was getting like, +50 per kill, which means I got a flat +5 wounds, which scales up damage further with the temp HP talent.

As for items, noble's sword in off hand is good, though things rarely live long enough for a second hit. the item that gives you extra attacks equal to your Psy rating. and most anything else.

there's a chainsaw that attack 5 times,so your executioner can stack bleed fast while gaining temp wounds with malpian shroud unkillable while bleeding enemy
