This is what the computer version is based on.
There were several other lines of games that Fantasy Flight did before they were removed from the project. They were removed because the company that bought them was a direct competitor of Games Workshop -ultimately the creator of all lore.

I never played the pen & paper but I have the more or less complete collection from a humble bundle just sitting there :D And Black crusade in physical form, minus the tomes, those are impossible to get these days.
