Abelard smack this word bearer astartes in the nuts

Abelard is a freaking monster, I just ran into the first word bearer in act two, after slaughtering most of the heretics before the first turn was even over I had Abelard start smacking the word bearer in the nuts with his thunder hammer.

After receiving the rearrangement of his groin region the marine proceeded to try and kick Abelard 3 times in a row all of them failing, I just have a mental picture of a word bearer trying to kick an old man away and failing like the armstrong meme.

Abelard had the nickname abelardass when he was a kid and it still hurts to this day. He basically does the Rocky 4 montage as his daily workout.

Was it on Kiava Gamma by any chance? The same thing happened to me just a short while ago. Well, almost - he didn't kill the Chaos Marine, but tanked three kicks in a row without any damage. My RT soldier bolted the marine to the wall in the next turn. They work together like that, the navy officer and the astra militarum general...

Yep this is exactly what happened but Abelard did do some serious damage to the marine.
