Manage Veil Degradation
So I've found a couple ways to lower Veil degradation. Psykers can get -3 on veil degradation when they activate a heroic act. So once per combat. And I took an ability called Stable Routes on Cassia which reduces Veil degradation by 1 for each navigator ability used.

I was reading some old topics, but I think these abilities have changed. I read something about reducing veil degradation by 10 as part of Cassia's kit, but I can't find an ability or feat that does this.

What options are there to reduce veil degradation?

Stabilizing factor reduces the veil degradation generated by the first psycher move a psycher does in a turn by 2. Keeps it from going up as fast.

Hmm off the top of my head, there is a talent that makes the first power used in a turn degrade veil by 2 points less than it normally would. That means if you use a power that normally degrades veil by 1, it instead restores it by 1.

And of course veil fixes itself passively by 1 point each turn.

Possibly the way it works was changed? This is how it currently works.

It works for me. Anyway what it says it it decreases it by 2 but if that would make it negative it instead decreases it by 1.

That's because it's your file, no one else can see it unless you make it public. If you want to post it here you need to do Steam magic to get it to embed here in your post. I always forget how it works, but yea you can't just upload a file and link it here. Steam forums suck that way.

The thing is I did upload it and it's in my account's content section and I went there and copy/pasted the link. Screenshots I've linked like this before have worked. I don't know what's going on.

It says that the first power INCREASES the veil degradation by 2 points less (in other words, it causes 2 points less damage to veil), and if this would cause the veil degradation to less than zero, veil degradation is DECREASED by 1 (in other words, it fixes the veil by 1 point).

The second part of the sentence just ensures that veil is never fixed by more than 1 point, even if the negative value would be 100.

The reading comprehension is weak in me.

Mend Reality with a high level infusing staff and Under my Protection/Veil of Protection... need I say more?

Well this is my first time playing. So forgetting isn't a thing. But thanks for the information. This means I'll have to respec my Cassia I'm afraid.

More like, not using Cassia since she's always been overpowered. So kinda sketchy on her abilities :)

Or not using her since bringing the ship's navigator on a combat heavy away mission makes no sense. If she goes down you're stranded as far as I can understand. Or that's how it should work.

You can also* just not use Psyker.
What's weird to me is that Cassia's Navigator ability should also trigger the Warp, I hope they add that later on, would make Cassia less OP for sure.
