The Lord Inquisitor and the Lord Captain
Are you seriously only able to say no?

It doesn't make sense in the narrative given that you said you would support him later in the story. So is there only one option here or is this bugged for me?

Sometimes the text is incorrect with the vocals. Sometimes nothing makes sense since they are talking about nothing.

Well you don't even get the option to say yes only the option to say no. This doesn't make any sense. I suspect the option to say yes is bugged and hence no chance to yes. I'm just wondering on anyone's play through if they even got the chance to say yes.

The only option for me is I'm afraid I must decline. Deal with your problems yourself.. This just seems so wildly out of character not only with how I've been playing especially since I gave my word I would.

yeah that bothered me as well it made no sense given my prior answer

You have to do it anyway even if you say no. Go figure

I am SO SO FRUSTRATED with this too - can only say no, which makes NO SENSE. I have been good friends with the Inquisition the whole playthrough AND I have every reason to want to do what he's asking - I don't care that I have to do it anyway, I wouldn't want to say no to begin with :steamfacepalm:

Luckily the no option doesn't have too many consequences to the story (immediatly) but I was so surprised and a little frustrated I got this. While I've been going an iconoclast route, and murdered the one The lord inquisitor put in charge, I have no bad blood with him. This felt so weird...

Just got this bug too. Devs obviously never played their own game. Early access games have really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the economy for quality releases these days. I even asked the guy something totally fair to the matter at hand and he replies by saying "I offered to make you my general and now you're pumping me for information"...Did they possibly use Bing to write this jank?

Yeah, that seems to be a recurring habit. In both Pathfinder games, the game functioned mostly fine for the parts which were available for early access testing. But any acts which went beyond what was available to the public were damn near unplayable.

This is the 3rd game they've produced in a row that suffers from this affliction. I would have expected Owlcat to learn their lesson by now!

I'm surprised this ♥♥♥♥ has not been fixed yet. Using toybox the options seem to be:
1) I will smash the heretics
2) Fine, I will take the chance you have given me
and the last we already know, but I don't know if there's a way to force the dialog with toybox

anyone knows what are the consequences?

Yes, the game wants to make it clear home to you that the Lord Inquisitor is a demanding ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Ya this game really needs an overhaul. I already beat it and I wonder how many of the ending options are also bugged but besides that how many were FORCED on you due to choices that are completely missing or bugged out.

1.0.98 aaaaand still not fixed. No option then but to deny the help despite being in my best interests to NOT allow the tentacle rape loving maniacs to spread around. I hope there are no negative consequences from this.

Pretty sure this is yet another bug. Which they didn't fix. Despite people mentioning it ages ago.

I guess it was more important to some of the OP abilities - but of course not all of them - to increase the likelihood that players will rage hard on the Act 4 boss fight. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

How were you able to get these dialog options using ToyBox? All I have read so far on reddit is this post by "Cathuulord" who said that:

"I'm late to the party but for anyone in the future, you can fix this with toybox by going into Search 'n pick, type in etudes in the categories, and then under your character's name search for InquisitorLoyal, and press start on it, then you can ask him to tell you about the eufrates II and when you go back to the last choice "I will smash the heretics will appear""

I tried that, but it didn't give me any other dialog options. I even tried other iterations where I made the change in Toybox before I boarded Footfall station, I did it during the conversation, set it to Start, Unstart, and Completed, but the resulst was always the same. How did you manage to get those two dialog options? Does anyone know if it has any effect on the story or the quest progression?

It's not so much that I "got" those options, I simply saw them. While you are on the bugged dialog screen open toybox, dialog & npcs, and the options will be there but it seems you cant pick them from there.

Unfortunately the latest patches also made that reddit fix impossible. It's not working and even the guy that suggested the fix can't get it done.
