Any tips for beating Hoxton breakout?
Like... Jeez, day 1 of this heist on death sentence is a perfect example of artificial difficulty, and that endless assault keeps you pressured with infinite spawns.
One thing I noticed though is that you can funnel enemies in starting area, temporarily preventing their movement with help of ECM jammer feedback, but this one really works only in organized team play or solo play due to the fact that bots will kill units since their AI is kinda barebones (still better than before though.)

When i was doing my "worst build ever" challenge i found the best way to go about things is to rush the police car and take cover at it until you can move it.
Then run behind the van to get it moving.
Once it starts to move run to the next van stopping point and take cover there.

When it's clear enough, start the van again and / or do the objectives there then run to the next stopping point and repeat the process.
It's a case of run, camp, run, camp.

One interesting thing I noticed, is how game handles spawns on some heists: it makes enemies spawn in points, that are closer to objective/players, and well... Hoxton breakout handles spawns the same way. However, unless you ace fully loaded or use brainrot perk deck, there are pretty much small means of pushing objective through stuns, even though 2 converts can be useful for taking some aggro away from you

Stay way in front of the truck, it makes the heist so much easier. Too many players try to follow or stay behind the truck only to fail almost immediately. You want to push super hard ahead of the truck. You might even have to go super far ahead at points, but that is a really big tip for this heist.

Good way to get shot and die.
Learn the spawns, and kill the enemies before they have a chance to flood the heist. You really don't want hide as it'll just make it 10x harder.

yeah it's pretty much just spawn trapping with high dps/fire/gas weaponry paired with conventionally powerful perk decks like hacker or you could always just roll the dice with a rogue inspire swan song build until it just works with the power of rng and face tanking.

like others have said: rush
clear the obstacles and tell the driver to go as soon as possible, get to the next stopping point, kill cops by the dozen

it may sound kinda toxic, but i don't bother reviving players that didn't rush, since they're usually miles away from the truck and surrounded by 80 cops. and even if you revive them the next objective area will probably be swarmed by then

also don't let your guard down in the parking garage. i've failed too many times because everyone runs off to different doors then gets 225'd, so i find it safer to choose someone and cover them while they lockpick

It has to do with the spawning. If you trail the truck, you're going to get overwhelmed because what'll happen is that behind you and in front of you you'll be surrounded by pretty much every angle imaginable, then you can't advance forward, you'll get stuck and then you'll just instantly lose the heist. By moving the truck and then immediately rushing forward, you're completely avoiding a ton of spawn areas, so if you go and push to the next objective, that's as far as the cops go, so if you then go a little past that, it becomes super safe because the cops only spawn in relation to the objective and surprise, the truck, and then you rinse and repeat.

Kingpin. Kingpin and being able to tank and do the objectives helps a lot.

i think you already know my opinion on these kinds of throwable perk deck brainrot, so not an option...
