I consider myself as a pretty good stealth player. I have cleared all of the stealth heists solo on DS/OD before. Wanted to take a stroll down memory lane and replay all of them again but GGC seems so much more difficult than I can remember. The guards move very different than before. For example I have never seen a guard get static below the stairs and really close to the vip room. Anyone know when it was changed?

it was changed a bit but the guards have not changed at all

Guards haven't changed that's just bad luck.

Finally cleared the heist but jeez how difficult it was. Anyone remember when the DS/OD was implemented? I can’t say I have played the heist many times but I have never seen a guard static below the stairs near the vip room at the same time as a guard just went static outside the entrance leading to the stairs on the side of the building where the gent toilets are. Had to open a window to get into the building, up the stairs and over to the balcony to get the red bottle.

One Down was added to the game October 2016.

Death Sentence replaced One Down as a difficulty and made One Down a modifier March 2018.

None of these changes should have affected the game’s mechanics of balance in Stealth, any different than Deathwish.

I know they changed how many guards patrolling in the back are from 2 till 4 quite early after it’s release. One more thing I noticed is that it’s not possible to loop the camera in the back area on the same side as the gent’s toilets if you know what I mean, because the camera is unreachable
