Loved that movie.
Really love you guys, Overkill
I wonder if you ever visited the F.A.T. guide .... Its been asked like a billion times and the answer is that they have no interest in recreating something old. Chances of old heists recreated are slim to none.

Someone brought up a good point in another thread that adding pd:th heists in pd2 would pretty much kill pd:th deader than dead. I'm sure Overkill and pd:th fans would be sad to see it go like that. Plus, those heists wouldn't at all fit into what little backstory pd2 has.
You're welcome ;) lol
Secondly, and slightly less on topic, as it came up, here is the specific segment from my F.A.T (Frequently Asked Topics) Guide Related to the original maps and the porting of them.
(For the record, I also would love to play the originals ported into PD2, but remaining on fairly neutral ground is important for guides of this nature.)
Please Bring Back Payday: The Heist maps/Port Payday 1 Maps to Payday 2!
This is another often asked for topic, which has a fairly simple reason for being unlikely to occur.
The simple answer is that the heists in Payday 1 would need to be completed reworked from the ground up in order to properly function in the game engine for Payday 2. This would amount to basically making the exact same content over again, and the choice to do so would mean suspending the creation of "New" content in favor of "Old" content. It would also take an incredibly lengthy amount of time during which nothing New would be created.
While many players might enjoy this, an equal or greater number would view this as "cop-out" or "Rehashed" content, and it would probably recieve more of a negative reaction in the end than a positive one. (Not to mention it would be a step backwards in the games overall storyline, as we would not necessarily have a rationale for returning to these locations.)
Probably the most important factor is that porting the older heists over to Payday 2 would more or less completely kill off the original Payday: The Heist (which would be counterproductive in ANY serious company. Killing off one of your games is typically a last resort.).
Hopefully this answers that particular question sufficiently/satisfactorily, and As Always... Heist On My Friends! Heist On!
