Best recording software for my system
I have been trying to get information on which free recording software to use, however while reading through some of the posts on these forums I became confused as some suggestions were graphics card dependent, while others didn't specify.

My system has:
AMD Radeon HD 7900 series graphics card
Intel i7-3770k processor

I'm not sure if any more information is needed, or if this information was truly even needed. Some suggestions with rational as to why they are good would be much appreciated.

If you had an Nvidia gpu, then Nvidia ShadowPlay.. But you dont.

..so then PlayClaw. You can choose there which cpu cores use to record, low performance hit, good quality.

I use OBS, which doubles as streaming software.

Try AMD's gaming evolved, their version of shadowplay.

Dxtory is very good and uses a lot less resources than, say, fraps.

I use AMD Gaming Evolved for my Radeon HD 7870.
Works perfectly. Has lots of settings and video size is awesomely light.

Here's some random example of my recorded gameplay. 60 FPS, 1080p.
