I sent the origional email on November 11th and got the response on January 7th. They are pretty busy, so dont be surprised if it takes them a couple of months to get to you.

I e-mailed that address when a cheater came into the forums and posted screenshots and a youtube video of him cheating trying to advertise his cheating channel. A few weeks later I got a similar e-mail back and he was probably banned as his thread was a full admission of cheating with all the proof Overkill would need. Not sure if just screenshots would do it. Probably not.

EDIT: Yeah, flowers is right, I should clarify. When I say banned, I mean banned from the Payday 2 community group and forums. There are no in-game bans, unfortunately. Though when a cheater gets banned from the official group, they no longer have access to community items, and if they cheat those items into their inventory, they get auto-kicked when equiping them when not the host.... not that it matter, because they can host with the infinite money they cheat in, so basically there is no real punishment.

Screenshots wouldn't get any cheater banned because they can easily be edited.

Something like puzzlefox said, a recorded video/demo/stream/channel would be sufficient grounds.

I sent an e-mail Jan 4th, got a response Jan 7th. "Thanks for reporting this." Likely a mass e-mail went out on the 7th considering the guy above got one that day as well.

I sent a screenshot + their steam profiles, if that matters.

This isn't a VAC-server (and never will be because of lua changing mods, e.g. Hoxhud). So the worst that will happen is that the cheater will be banned from the Payday 2 forums and the community so they won't get any of the free items. However there is probaly a hack to get those anyways so it litterly does nothing. As for the email i am sure someone from Overkill (even if they pretend they are Almir) will read carefully though your email and reply to it when they have enough time.

The guy spawned hundreds of sentries which would cause your framerate to stop in time, quite harmful to the PC. Glad Overkill Software cares enough to protect its community from scumbags that do that.

Read the post above yours. There is literally no action that Overkill can take against specific cheaters. All they can do is keep making improvements to the anticheat system itself.
