i dont really wanna re-hear what he say everytime we lose , i dont wanna hear " dont kill civilians " etc .. besides he talks too much AND annoying 1980's radio voice , how to stop it ?

only one way to find out

but no it shouldnt if you follow the directions outlined it should work all its doing is removing/replacing soundfiles it shouldnt affect the core coding

just note mods like these are a pain to install and require a few downloads of programs to allow sound files to be editted o you must really hate bain to put yourself through this

No idea. I thought it would be a LUA snippet, but it seems to be some other format whih you can't read -to see what it's atually doing on your computer-, plus it requires you to download and install som more third party software, so I didn't use it.

I bet there's a LUA equivalent which does this without so much obscurity. Just a matter of looking around.

I miss that too. Dont know why players.... they can make Bain stop talking that if they pick and then drop the thermal drill at somewhere safe.

I hope Overkill "accidentally" changes his voice lines for April Fools day by ransoming the lines he say for every objective, confusing people. Like swapping the thermal drill line with "That's the alarm guys" or something.
