White Xmas - What's the current highest record of bags?
I've tried looking around for the highest record of bags, so far all I can find is 53. One of my buddies insists that it's 83 or 84 but I haven't found anything about it.

I hope I'm not breaking forum rules;
three of us spent 3 hrs and managed to get 71 bags before we had to call it. (Just plain worn out really was the issue.)

We had a whole heck of a lot of fun doing it. We got into a system really of 2 going for the drops and I camped the bags.

Here's a screenshot.

If anyone has any other information on record numbers, let me know!

Thanks!

Oh wow. I dont think I could last 11 hours. 147 bags only though? ew.

What did you put in for search? I keep getting the 53.

Don't worry about breaking the rules, I really don't see how a mod could see it as self promotion in this instance. Also, even if you did break them, all they would do is remove it, so it's not a big deal.

Anyways, it sounds like you did it right - two dodge players grabbing bags, two heavy players protecting them seems to be the ideal setup for this one.

Also, holy crap 149 bags in one run. I would have gotten so bored after hour.... one.

Actually we didnt do dodge builds, we did mastermind/enforcer builds, full hostage taker and constantly had a cop hostage, also with the perks for having a jokered' cop, and inspire, we also had maxed out medic bags and fully loaded. (We never had ammo issues)

(We only used 3 or 4 of the total med bags available to us, but we also only heal after 3 downs)

And we went with full armor too. I ran he shotgun primary and loco (master race!) secondary, and we only did it on overkill diff.

What we're really curious about however, is the method that more gifts drop. We think we sort of found a pattern to it and based on 3hrs + 71 bags versus 11hrs and 147 bags, the latter is almost only one quarter of the bags per time spent than what we got.

So the question now sorta is, is it possible to beat the record in less time?

When released I think it was a hard cap of 91 bags dropped. After the community got a record of 91 the cap was increased to 147 - which a team obviously reached. Playing one heist for 11 hours on overkill is probably something noone else will do though :-)

In the one reddit, there are people saying the cap is 1200 bags.

Hmm if 147 took 11 hours then that means 1200 will take 3 days aproximately without sleep...

Hmm

Then it has been raised again. If so it is really strange that there has not been anyone beating the 147 record - I still think the reason why noone has beaten it is because Overkill did not bother raising the limit...

Yep, someone said the exact same thing.

However, what I am interested in, is how we managed 71 bags in 3 hrs, theoretically, we averaged more bags than the 11 hr guys, but the problem kinda remains, 'do the bag drops lesson over a period of time no matter what'?

Because if that is the case, and going from 3 - 71 to 11 -147, well im sure 1200 would be alot more than 3 days then.

But if that isnt the case and it is in fact different or some pattern to it, then 147+ bags might be possible in a much shorter time frame than 11 hrs.

if the map mechanics are as I know it, no one has beaten 147 because its statistically impossible, in fact 147 is statistically impossible (in 3h, 11 sounds reasonable, also it is not outright impossible, you *can* get 147 in 3h) :P I'd be more willign they cheated the lua scripts to get bags to drop 100% of the time if they get a very high count of bags (which to me would be a better challenge, not rng based, but skill based)

71 is good luck on 3h, you can if very very very lucky reach 100 or so, 80 is great already
