Bang for the Buck achievement glitched?

So I've been trying to get the achievement Bang for the Buck, kill ten Bulldozers using 000 buckshot ammo with any shotgun.

I've been using the Street Sweeper, proper ammo equipper, and I'm pretty dang certain I've killed more than ten 'dozers now, and I am DAMN certain I've killed at least ONE bulldozer with it, yet when I check my achievement progress it hasn't filled at all.

Does the Street Sweeper not count as 'any shotgun'? Does 'any' only mean 'primary' or something? Has anyone else had this achievement or other 'kill so many [enemy] with [weapon] or [ammo]' achievements just glitch out for them? This is awful frustrating as bulldozer hunting isn't really the easiest.

Are you using the community 000 buckshot?? if so it doesn't work. It needs to be the DLC 000 buckshot in order for it to work.

Been using the DLC 000. Was concerned one of the options might be wrong but since it's a DLC shotgun thought I'd keep to the DLC ammo..

At least, pretty sure I've been using it.. Guess I'll make sure to double-check next time I load the game up. :/

I made the same mistake when I went for that achievement. The right buckshot is the 2nd one on the list. Should work after that

I've been having problems with it to, I'm assuming it's because the dozers already took damage and therefore I don't kill them with buckshot only

It has to be the DLC buckshot, not the community one.

EDIT: Steam takes a while to update. And you only need to deal the last shot. I got this using Locomotive, so try that.

I was concerned that maybe it had to be a primary shotgun, but the Locomotive is a secondary.. Still though, it's an original secondary, not DLC..

Any ideas on the Street Sweeper itself simply not counting for the achievement? I already blew attachments on it and all. :x

It does, I used the Street Sweeper myself when trying to get it.

Well I was pretty certain it was me, but I guess there's always the possibility I was just mistaken even if I was trying real hard and really thought I had it. :/

I'll try again using the tips provided, making sure I got the right ammo equipped and checking the achievement after there's no doubt my gun dealt the killing blow. Hopefully I can get somewhere.

If you play with bots you have to be really fast after you get the face visor off. They will steal your kill :-)

Just solo rats Death wish under the table and you will get more dozers than you need.
