If you slap a silencer on it, Silent Killer and Professional help.
Other than that, none.
Personally, being able to "focus" the LMG while walking the same speed as when hipfiring makes a huge impact.
That's not what he's asking.
---------------------------
I would have to say the "Sharp Shooter" perk for stability is pretty handy as well as "Hard Boiled" for accuracy (both aced). Also, adding a silencer will allow you do use any "pierce" skills.
LMGs aren't rifles
Sharpshooter input affects single shot weapons, aced is rifles. Neither apply.
Hard Boiled has an affect but it is almost negligible with the LMG.
Run and gun cam be nice because it helps mitigate the speed penalty of the LMG.
Kilmer aced can be useful to allow you to sprint through the long reload.
Iron man aced helps with both getting rid of shields and suppressing enemies while closing the gap.
Distubing the peace helps suppress the enemy and gets you shot less.
Besides leadership, disturbing the peace and run and gun, most of them require a pretty steep investment to get to.
OP, this guy is full of ♥♥♥♥ and terrible advice. Don't bother with anything he has to say.
Now, for LMGs the only thing you really need is Leadership aced.
As for basic skills...
Situational basic skills (point dumps)...
More advanced/specialized skills...
Situational advanced/specialized skills...
Most of the skills you want are the 1 and 4 point investment skills (basic skills listed above) which are low hanging fruit, which give passive effects which negate LMG weaknesses. And most significant LMG skills are found deeper in the Enforcer and Fugitive trees.
REALLY?! dayum ima have to try that.
Panic for LGM is just a 10% chance to fullfil the supression meter of the enemies per shot (7% for some enemies, read The Long Guide).
Of course to compensate for the lower speed, Shinobi Basic, Sprinter Aced, Endurance Aced, Bulletstorm goes well with LMGs, Swan Song could be useful too.
Couple all that with an ICTV and Bulletproof.
That's per shot, though, and LMGs have both a high rate of fire and large magazines. I'm not too up on the percentages, but I know from experience that simply firing at distant enemies provides a tremendous amount of mitigation, even if you don't hit them. Judging from experience again, the KSP makes at least a couple enemies cower out of every single group I fire on.
